Coshocton is a city located in Coshocton County, Ohio. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 11,682. It is the county seat of Coshocton County6.

Coshocton contains the restored canal theme town Roscoe Village, Ohio, a tourist attraction showcasing the area’s unique canal history, situated next to the former Ohio and Erie Canal.
